These watches are phenomenalAug 21, 2010 Just reading these reviews, I had to comment. I have had a citizen I bought close to 20 years ago. appears to be the same model except it has a stainless band. I wear it in the shower, swimming and never has it missed a beat. Still keeps excellent time despite the beating it took while working for the navy on ships. The most reliable watch ever made in my opinion.
Watch OK, but band breaks and is expensive to replaceMay 10, 2010 I have had this watch for about 3 years and mostly it's a good watch.
Good:
Doesn't need battery
Keeps good time
Not too heavy
Easy to see at night
Bad:
Difficult to set month when month has only 30 days
Band broke after 3 years. Costs $50.00 to replace.
Warranty is misleading in that it would appear that the band is covered for 5 years, but a close reading shows that it's not. A watch like this should be guaranteed, period.
I would not buy this watch again because of the band issue.
Durable, accurate, comfortableApr 01, 2010 I am very particular about watch comfort - I typically don't even wear watches, but in this case, I finally found one I really like. The combination of titanium and rubber makes for a very light and comfortable fit. The watch is very durable (so far - dont' know how the band will work out). It's been swimming in the ocean, in the sand and is none the worse for wear. No scratches or anything. Seems to keep very accurate time, which is expected with a quartz movement. I wish the lume was brighter/last longer, but this is typical in a watch of this price range. Overall, I'm super-happy with it. I now wear a watch every day.
Love the watch, band is terribleJan 22, 2010 I've had this watch a couple years and the watchband already broke. I'm looking for a replacement and it's looking like it'll cost me about 50 bucks. The strap is comfortable, but not strong at all. I'd have gotten a watch with a better strap if I had it to do over again.

Watch Band is Lousy - Not a good investmentNov 12, 2009 Yes, the watch band breaks every 2.5 years. AND... it's a proprietary band size, so it will cost you about $50 to replace the band... not a good investment for a $150 watch! I'm going to try to think of some creative re-use of my watch sans-band... maybe I'll nail it to my tool shed in the backyard (after all, it is water resistant and solar powered!)
