Fine Balance Between Boldness and EleganceMay 29, 2010 I've got both models, the one with the rubber strap (purchased 3 years ago for $205; now it's about $235) and most recently the metal strap for $270. I love the classic bold diver look and ease of use with a solar battery. But I don't like the metal strap much. I had mine fitted at the watch shop (for $10) but it's still not as comfortable as my other metal strap watches, the Nixon 51-30.
In contrast, I love my Citizen Diver with the rubber strap, much more comfortable for every-day wear. I say save $35 or so and get the rubber strap version.
Update: The more I wear my stainless steel band version, the more I acclimate to it, so my esteem for it has risen. Also, the stainless steel band makes it look like a $1,000 watch. No buyer's remorse here, just the opposite.
BOMB!!Mar 01, 2010 The piece arrived on schedule, and the Amazondelivery charm continues to amaze me.
Got the links adjusted from a local watch store and the 'heavy' watch wears well. Good things- it keeps good time, is bright in the day and the time can be read for a few hours after darkness sets in... by far the hands stay 'lit' for almost 4-5 hours in complete darkness. Waterproof has been tested while swimming and snorkeling- and I dont think this is going any deeper than that.
Only one irritating thing- the uni-directional bezel rotates very easily and if your watch rubs against the table, chair or someone walking close to you, the bezel will spin a few mins... I would have expected a little more heft in the bezel.
Overall for the price, a very attractive watch, and if you go diving, you cant bang into tables or people...
Eco-Drive 300 Meter BJ8050-59EJan 23, 2010 The ultimate dive watch, excellent luminosity, comfortable to ware, solar powered - I love it. So far I've only dived to a depth of 3 feet or so (what ever the length of arm is), absolutely no leakage whatever, not even when in the full force of a Jacuzzi.
A Must HaveDec 27, 2009 This watch is absolutely cool as heck. Don't be fooled for what others say about the size because it actually is not big at all. If you own any Invicta watches it will be considered small. It fits comfortably and also the lume at night is better that I've seen without tubes. I'm seriously thinking about another because of the price. Capitalize on this opportunity!!

Great Watch-She's a Monster though!Oct 09, 2009 I work for a high end jeweler that sells Rolex, Graham, Omega, IWC and so forth. I have acquired a few of the watches since I work there, but I wanted something that I could beat up threw on when I was hoping to the store without the need to wind up. Most of my watches are automatics and I keep them in the watch winder to keep them going. Sometimes I have to wind them up because I only have 4 watch winders for 6 watches. A few weeks ago, my brother cracked a joke on the way to the pawn shop and said you paid all that money(not really..EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT) for those watches and you have to wind them the hell up..you need an old fashioned Citizens!! Okay soyeah my 6 watches are a pain sometimes, it's like I'm juggling eggs..this one today..that one goes in tommorrow..! Anyway, we are shopping the pawn shops for lose diamonds...dont ask! And I see this massive watch in the case. I said "Excuse me sir but you have got to let me try that on!" I loved it as soon as it was on my arm! I will admit its a huge watch compared to all my others, but for some reason it looked cooler than all my other watches!I wanted it right now! The pawn shop owner said it was $250. I was like wait one minute..its a little scratched and used..no box..ummm..wait..gotta love the iPhone..typed it in my Amazon app..oh theres an APP for that! And whhaaah laaa 2 hundred seventy freaking dollars brand spanking new on Amazon! I said whats ya best price...he said $240..I said nevermind. I pressed the one click order on the phone at the pawn shop..ya gotta love Amazon for that..and the quick ship..I had this baby the next day! I was like yeahhh baby! I'm wearing it to my buddies the cookout! Some of my friends are real watchheads, and all in the watch business..sometimes a little stuck up as they can be..could not stop talking about how much they loved the watch! First they were like "Man that's a hunk of massive steel!" Then it was..ummm can I see it..were did you get this from! I have had the watch for several weeks and I love it, it turns heads at counters..ordering food..you name it. Before you buy it go somewhere and try it on, cause its not a small watch, but surprisingly its light on the arm.
