Pro DiverApr 22, 2010 The watch is working quite well. It charged up the first day simply wearing it. The date, however, is entirely too small in low or medium light conditions.

Great looking watch!Mar 04, 2010 Just received my watch today - very quick ship (thanx, Amazaon!). Love the way the watch looks - not too bulky. It is charging now.
Easy to work with - once I understood the screw down crown. The instructions said to lift the crown to loosen before activating. I thought that meant to pull. It meant to unscrew - thankfully my husband came home before I did any permanent damage!
Looks great on my wrist - durable and attractive. My husband has a Rolex Submariner - looks a lot like his.

Great WatchNov 24, 2009 I gave this watch to my daughter after getting the men's version for myself. It is a great watch because it is durable, waterproof, and never needs batteries. The women's watch is smaller, but otherwise nearly identical to the men's version. As a women's watch, the design has sort of a funky chic allure. I don't think she will be wearing it to any cocktail parties, but as an everyday watch, it both makes a statement and is impervious to the elements.

Citizen Dive watchOct 28, 2009 I really love this watch.I must because it's my 3rd,the same watch in 11 years. My others broke for whatever reasons and I just had to have the same again. My usband has the same but it's the Men's,ofcourse he loves his. This is a watch you can wear with any knd of informal formal wear. I receive compliments on the "look" of this watch as well.Smart looking design...I love it.

I'm an idiotSep 06, 2009 Yes, I am an idiot, but I am the type of idiot who can admit a mistake.
This was the first dive watch I ever bought (a gift for the girlfriend, an avid diver) and I had never heard of a screw-down crown before. It's a watch, right? You pull the stupid thing out to set the time, you push the stupid thing back in when you're done. Turns out the stupid thing was the one doing the pushing and pulling.
The crown didn't come out when I pulled, so I used a tool. It didn't go back in when I pushed, so I used a tool. Naturally it never felt right after that. After a while the entire shaft connected to the crown pulled out. The watch still ran, but after a couple more dives water got in and the thing stopped working. So I posted a 2-star review here and sent the watch back to Citizen with an angry letter.
Eventually the girlfriend became the wife, and I became a diver too (a stipulation of the marriage). This year for Christmas she bought me a gorgeous dive watch. The crown didn't come out when I pulled, but this time I read the instructions. "Screw-down crown"? Oh *eff* me...
Did I mention that I am an idiot?
Despite the flagrant user error and being outside of the one-year warranty, Citizen repaired the watch, good as new, at no charge. I now know that Citizen is a company that you can trust for both quality and customer service.
The watch itself is perfect. Perfect size and perfect look. It's a style in and of itself. I bought my wife another Citizen, a gorgeous dress bracelet with a mother-of-pearl face. Few are the days when one or the other isn't on her wrist. Now I'm starting to lust after a Citizen chronograph for myself...
